I am as an Indonesian feel proud to Rich Brian who breaks the record as the first Indonesian to perform on The Late Late Show. Rich Brian was the musical guest on the show James Corden last night, February 1, 2018. He performed a medley of his songs "Amen" and "Cold" for the Stage 56 audience. Watch his performance below!
For those who don’t know who Brian is, here I’m gonna tell you that Brian Imanuel is known professionally as Rich Brian. He was previously known as Rich Chigga. He is an Indonesian rapper, record producer, songwriter and comedian from Jakarta. He is best known for his viral debut single "Dat $tick", which was released in February 2016. Now you know who he is, right?
Then I’m gonna tell you what The Late Late Show is. I think most people in the world know what it is. The Late Late Show with James Corden (which is also known as Late Late) is an American late-night talk show hosted by James Corden on CBS. It is the fourth and current iteration of The Late Late Show. Airing in the U.S. from Monday to Friday nights. This show is taped in front of a studio audience Monday through Thursday afternoons - during weeks in which first-run episodes are scheduled to air - at CBS Television City in Los Angeles, California in Studio 56, directly above the Bob Barker Studio (Studio 33). It is produced by Fulwell 73 and CBS Television Studios.
I, as a fan of Brian, hope this is not the last show for him. There’s still Ellen Show, Oprah Winfrey Show, and Jimmy Kimmel Show that he must perform there as well. Brian made Indonesia proud. I’m truly proud of him. Keep going, Briant!
